Birthday Card with Ribbon & Buttons

Today I have a birthday card to share. It is based on a sketch provided by Peachy Keen Stamps for Sketch Challenge #59. The background paper is from DCWV's Green Stack. The ribbon separating the two patterns is from Stampin' Up. I used Tim Holtz Retro Grunge paper for the small rectangle and added some pen stitching with my white Sakura gelly roll pen. The Happy Birthday is cut from olive vinyl and is from the Dotted Fun Sentiments file by Shelly's Art. I added a border rub-on from American Crafts between the two words. Finally I added some buttons from my stash. This was a quick and easy card to put together and I think it turned out pretty cute. I think I may send this to my Brother-in-Law since it turned out fairly masculine. I often struggle with masculine cards because I always want to add flowers and bling. :)
